Dear All

I create this topic for the sake of understanding different types of programs during project life cycle, i will mention the types i already know but if someone here can explain all of them one by one and when we can use each of them it would be great for all of us.

What i know is: Baseline, Revised Program, Accelerated Program, Recovery Program & Execution Program.

Note: If this topic is already exist in the forum please refer to the topic in a reply.

Hi Rami

Baseline - the original programme.

Revised programme - any changes to the baseline programme which may then become a new baseline

Accelerated Programme - changes to the baseline programme attempting to achieve an earlier completion date.

Recovery Programme - revision to the baseline programme attempting to regain lost time - may include an acceleration exercise.

Execution Programme - not a term I recognise - probably another term for baseline or even a short term look ahead extract.

Hope that helps
