ASTA - P6

Hi all,

I am currentley using Asta V11 but very soon going to be converting to P6.....!! is there a complete difference with these two software packages??

I have never used P6.......!!

Hi James

I am in the same situation as my current company operates P6 and it is a nightmare getting used to it.

I have convinced the management to trial Asta PowerProject on two new projects and then roll it out on all new starts.

Meanwhile I work in Asta and convert tp P6 in XER which works OK except for the calendars.

Like yourself I mainly use ASTA V.11

When you use ASTA full time, it will be hard to change over.

you expect things in the same drop down menu but they are not.

I have a copy of P6 but use it very little even after a training course.

Suggest you try a course 1st as a copy of P6 is very expensive

Whats the reason for change company or Self?
