Dear Raul:
Might be your impression 100% right, but do not think like this , always try to think positively, u have to provide the information which have been asked upon u receive officially request , DO NOT adhere to the verbal request, give here printed sheets without showing how u built up your data
usually the cash flow is the soul interest of cost department guys ,if they are one going to put and study the financial strategy for this year and next year the cash flow will be helpful information .
always try to understand the nature of relationship between your job and outputs and the other staff and their outputs , this is will help u to recognize the kind of the information which they should asked u for.
Regards
Mai
Hi Raul,
from my point of view she is just checking if the schedule was built taking informations from planning dept, field and procurement. From a Project Control perspective, we have to make sure that not only that ammount of money forecasted in certain activities will be invested on the project(accomplishing the forecasted cash flow) but at the same time assuring the scheduled deliverables that will convert on revenue for the project. This problem would probably be solved wiht an EVA tracking report and a regular basis meeting with her dept.

I trust you can relate the variable time from the schedule with the cost .I think QS is trying to relate physical percentage of completion with cost ,based on that QS can generate running account bills.Have a look at the below link, it is a methodology built using time and cost
