Hi to all

Scheduling tool computes a critical path based on the network logic assigned in the pro-gramme

Once the critical path is found through scheduling tool it can be cross checked with project head or project manager.

You can also modify the critical path as per the field conditions

As Samer and Anoon Said;

There is no magic formula, as long as you have followed:

1> proper and acceptable scheduling standards

2> covered the whole of the project scope and

3> used sound logic in scheduling your activities then your best bet would be discussing your CP with the PM.

One tip though, look for the Longest Path and not the Zero Float Critical Path as the former is what effectively matters.

Rola,

Set a meeting with the project management for the review of the schedule. I guess that’s the only way to find out if the schedule is credible.

cheers

Dear Rula,

The whole is the sum of the parts. If the activities are correct and the scheduling is correct, then the critical path is correct.

As Anoon said, it is best to be reviewed by the Construction Team that is going to execute the job.

With kind regards,

Samer
