Dear Planners,
I would like to ask if any one can direct me to free download of a book "construction planning and scheduling" by Thomas E. Glavinich PE,
AGC of Amercia, 2004
341 pages
Regards,
Moutaz
Dear Moutaz,
You are correct, the abbreviation that I used was incorrect. The correct abbreviation is PMI-SP, you can confirm it on their website.
Good luck,
Samer
Dear Samer,
Thanks a lot but what I know that PMI is responsible for PMP and AACEI is responsible for PSP.
Anyway, I think there are preparation course for PSP or at least specific material for study. Regarding PMP do you mean 35 hours free study online through the PMI website. Sorry I did not check yet PMI website, I will check now.
Thanks a lot for attention.
Moutaz
Dear Moutaz,
You need to download the information needed for each exam from the www.pmi.org website.
You can take the 35 hours for the PMP online. The PSP does not require any course work.
Good luck,
Samer
Thanks everybody for your advice, I need to know which training center you advice me to have preparation course in PSP/PMP in arabic country? as I could not find any center in the arabic world who organize PSP preparation course.
regards,
Moutaz
Hi Moutaz,
In one of the other threads u hav asked diff between adctivity codes and activity IDs. So, if u at this juncture of career, then i wud advise u to hav P3/P6 basics correct. But, before that u need to hav clear understanding of all site related activities and then hav thorough understanding of PERT/CPM networking.
Once u get mastering in above, then i wud advise u go for further education and certification courses like PMP/PSP.
Most of the certificvation courses are not designed to teach u something new, but theses are meant to prove ur mettle tat u at par with industry standards.
So, get ur basics right which may take few years and then go for further education.
:-)
Dear Moutaz,
One option is to get a professional certification. Like the PMP or the PSP from the www.pmi.org
Or you can get a Masters Degree online or in class in the subject matter of your choice.
If you have the opportunity to get a job with an international company you will learn their system and processes and this will be a big step forward.
Good luck,
Samer
