Delivery period of pot bearings:

a. Steel & Manufacture of Pot Bearings: 12 weeks

b. Load Test + Coefficient of Friction Test : 10 to 14 days

c. Sea Freight :5-6 weeks(from italy to middle east)

Sea Freight depends upon the distance between the manufacturing co. and the site location.

In our case due to urgency of work we went for air freight which took only 2 weeks.

But always supplier prefers sea freight and ask the contractor to bear air freight if he willing to

I hope this information will be helpful to you

Why not give the supplier of the pot bearing a call? (or one of the potential suppliers if the contract is not yet awarded).

Most companies, from lift suppliers/installers to runway lighting suppliers, will have standard lead times (normally quoted in terms of weeks) for their supplied items (commencing from time of order, ending with delivery on site). These are generally nominal/aproximate periods, but tend to end up fairly accurate.

They are your best guideline.
