This is correct Floating, Production Storage and Offloading vessel which is used in the production of oil in deep water oil fields. It is generally a large tanker which enables the easier processing and handling of crude before it embarks on its journey to shore and the use of the FPSO has made the accessing of deeper/harder to find oil more economical.

to be more clear it is Floating Production Storage Offloading...which is purposely for Deep Water(not shallow sea)....in oil n gas industries...most of company are looking for this FPSO technology....no more sub structure project....

If this relates to oil and gas industry the meaning would be floating production storage and offloading or is related to something else?
