hello all,
can you please advise if there is any software that makes the mapping excersise and provide the level 3 activity level of the primavera schedule budgeted cost.
I am trying to solve the issue utilizing Ms Excel however there are a lot of parameters needs to be manually inserted and calcualted in order to reach to a presentable maapping sheet and an acceptable weight factors.

Based on my experience in some EPC Projects, WBS is unique for different projects and developed specifically in accordance with the project Scope of Work (SOW). Different project will have different process, facilities, unit, etc. Anyway, in a certain level of WBS there should be a level for "standard work category (WC)". This WC is same for any kind of projects (example: cocrete work, tank erection, cable pulling, etc).
CBS is usually a Contractor standard cost code and it should have also a certain level for WC. Linking b/w WBS and CBS is here, WC of WBS and CBS. On the other term, we name this WC level as Work Packages. Lower levels are cost-based activities and their steps.
When established, we can apply Earned Value Method to measure performance in every level of WBS or CBS.
Primavera implements this kind of integration system.
