Hi everyone
We all know that having a negative float means there is a constraint and it affects the EV calculations of LOE activities.
In our company there are two finisg milestones
1- plan completion date
2- contract completuon date
At the begining of the project they are the same and we have a constraint on the second one to be fixed and showing the delays by those negative float.
My boss says this is the best way to show the delays.
Any thoughts and alternatives on that?
yep because the DCM recommends low negative float , as do many contracts
The best way to show delays, is to have an agreed Baseline, and show Finish Variance.
This means you can see delays BEFORE the float goes negative,
