I'm in the process of building a fully resource loaded schedule and have recently been advised that I need to apply a 6% internal inventory charge to all materials to recoup internal stores costs.
The obvious answer is to adjust the price / unit for each material but that is not possible as these resources are already in use by multiple teams where this 6% rate doesn't apply. Total cost for all resources is calculated costs x units but I'm hoping someone can advise me as to how I could create and apply this 6% charge across the relevant materials.

up top under Slect Subject area change that to Activity Resource Assignments
where resource id name equals whatever the resource name is
then budgted costs = budgted costs * .06
On the right select change
then on the bottom select commit Chnagest
Is any way to material resource as primary resource - thats depends on if the # Units of the material is driving the activity
Second how to assign of unit of measure such as hour for labor and non--labor - yes go to the resource and look under the
details tab and there is a drop down there for unit of measure. If you do not see the one you want you can add it by going to Admin then Admin Categories then Units of measure
Third in resource tab of activity details of update primary resource is any setting to automatically update other resource
go to Projects and on the Resources tab under Resource Assignments set the settings there
