1st why would you ever enter the wrong credentials ? so lets eliminate that form the equasion

Here are the reasons and the solutiuons depending on what version of P6 that you are using

There are few possible causes for this issue:

  1. A license does not exist for the application (only applicable for P6 v4.0 - P6 v6.2.1).
  2. The user has entered in an incorrect password.
  3. The user does not have a license or module access to the application.
  4. The user does not have a resource assigned to it

For 6.2.1 - 7.0

The user has entered in an incorrect password

  1. Logon to Project Management as an Admin Superuser.
  2. Go to Admin, Users.
  3. Highlight the username that was experiencing the problem.
  4. Select the General tab.
  5. Click the Password button to reset the user's password.
  6. Once the password has reset, have the user logon.

The user does not have a license or module access to the application

  3. Highlight the username that was experiencing the problem.
  4. Select the Licensing or Module Access tab.
  5. Select the appropriate license or module access for the product that is being accessed.

The user does not have a resource assigned to it (only applicable for when logging into Timesheets/Progress Reporter)

  1. Logon to Project Management as an Admin Superuser.
  2. Go to Admin, Users
  3. Highlight the username that was experiencing the problem.
  4. Select the General tab.
  5. Verify a resource is assigned to the user in the Resource ID/Resource Name field.

For 8.0 - Later

The user has entered in an incorrect password

  1. Logon to P6 Web as an Admin Superuser.
  2. Go to Administer, Users/User Access or Administration Tab, User Administration.
  3. Highlight the username that was experiencing the problem.
  4. Right-Click then select 'Change Password' to reset the user's password.
  5. Once the password has reset, have the user logon.

  3. Highlight the username that was experiencing the problem.
  4. Select the Module Access tab.

Hello,

Are you sure that Primavera installation was 100% the same on both computers?

I mean, are you sure you have installed P6 on the Windows Pro machine: Stand-alone, SQLite database, ...
