Baseline Issue

Hi,

I have just noticed that a mid-project baseline that was created in Jun-17 has been deleted / removed from the schedule. Is it possible to recover this from a backup?

Many thanks,

Mike

make sure that it was truly deleted once you assign a schedule as a baseline it is no longer availabe from the Projects Directory but it is still there. If it was truly deleted then depeneding on your setting it will get cleaned out in 2 to 5 days and be unrecoverable.

A technique that I like to use is before I make a major change or after one. I go to file send project and this wil automatically create an xer file as an email attachment. Then I email it to myself this way if I ever need it I can retreive it from an email.

I also back up P6 every Friday and I back up my laptop every Friday. Both are these are done automatically the p6 is done via a simple batch file and the other is the windows bakup.

I lost a hard drive once and thats all it took for me to religiously backup my computer tera byte drive are cheao
