Q:1-I am Newbee.I completed B.tech in civil Eng in 2013.i join as a planning engg in gulf region directly.
so i dont have site engg experience.what i will do gain the knowledge in site as welll as planning. is there any book or i have to go to site daily?
Q2: i also i want know that while preparing the baseline programm how can i calculate budgeted units in resources
for material,labour & equipments.
material cement,steel etc
labour: mason,carpenter,helper,steel fixer etc
equipment : excavator,roller etc

Scheudule is a yardstick to measure the progress and performance against what was estiamted at the estimation stage. The schedule is loaded initally wtth the manhours/equipment hrs equal to what was in the 'as sold' bid. Go through the estimate..it is the first step.
