Good day;
Iam working on a project "Tunnel" that is divided into Facilities, sectors and sections, where every sector consists of several sections and every section consists of different activities.
Iam trying to group & sort the activities per sector and not per section, for example:
Sector A: Section 1, Section 2
- Section 1 Activities: Excavation (start: 12 May 2016, Finish: 4 July 2016)
Concrete (Start: 13 June 2016, Finish: 12 August 2016)
- Section 2 Activities: Excavation (start: 3 June 2016, Finish: 4 August 2016)
Concrete (Start: 5 July 2016, Finish: 2 September 2016)
The question is how can I sort the activities per sector as follows:
Sector A Activities: Excavation (start: 12 May 2016, Finish: 4 August 2016)
Concrete (Start: 13 June 2016, Finish: 5 July 2016)

It worked, where I used the group and sort till level 4 (Sector) and added the process code at level 5 (Section).

I am assuming that these are codes and not a wbs
go to view group and sort
select add
then under Group by select Sector (Do not check Indent)
and if you want the activities sort by start date either click on top of the column or under group and sort on the right select sort then select in the field name select start
