Hello,
I do have a problem migrating from P3 to P6. Everything seems fine except that the total float on the migrated schedule on P6 is 1 day less than the total float on the the original schedule on P3.
Did anyone have such problem before?! Can anyone help?!

p3 does not specifically use TIMES and P6 does go to edit users preferences
click on the dates tab
at the bottom select Time 12 hours
now go to the projects directory and make sure that your project is highlighted
click on the dates tab
click in the planned start make sure that your TIME is 8:00 am or whatever the earliest hours is in your calendar
click in the must fnish by date and change the TIME to 5:00 pm or what every the latest hour is in your calendar
click in the data date and make the TIME 8:00 am or whatever the earliest hours is in your calendar
go to your activities filter for any constraints
for ALL start type of constraints make the TIME 8:00 am or whatever the earliest hours is in your calendar
for all finish type constraints make the TIME 5:00 pm or what every the latest hour is in your calendar
schedule the project F9 make sure the TIME is 8:00 am or whatever the earliest hours is in your calendar
also check your calendar amd make sure that the start TIMES and finish TIMES for each day is correct.
