Dear All,

I was trying to prepare the resource table directly from P6 as follows;

1. Site No.1

1.1 Manpower

1.1.1. Manpower-1

1.1.2. Manpower-2

1.2. Machinery

1.2.1. Equipment-1

1.2.2. Equipment-2

2. Site No.2

2.1. Manpower

2.1.1. Manpower-1

2.1.2. Manpower-2

2.2. Machinery

2.2.1. Eqpt-1

2.2.2. Eqpt-2.

I know that it is somewhere in the " Resource Usage Spread Sheet", but unable to develop it site/area/section wise. I dont want to see any activities in it, but only section/area wise manpower.

Is there any easy option to do it in P6 itself

Regards

Kannan

Kannan,

In the Resource assignment Pane... You can Organized the Layout According to the hierarchy you made in the Resource Dictionary.

Create a Resource Code similar to that of the Hierarchy, assign the Resources accordingly then use the Code to Organize in the Group & Sort.

Hi Zolfan,

Thanks for the reply.

I want to see the time scale and the manpower/machinery units also on the right side. I believe that in the Resource directory we can see the hierarchial level of resources, not the manpower/machinery table.

Please correct me if I am wrong.

Best Regards

Kannan

you do not do it in the resoursage usage spreasheet portion of the program that is for viewing the ressources that you have already made and have assigned to activities.

you need to do this in the resource directory

just add the resource

then using the arrows on the right you can create parent child relationship that you are looking to do
