Hi all,
By applying filter to the main WBS, is it possible to hide a particular section in the schedule.
For eg: I have a WBS " PROVISIONAL SUM" in the schedule and there are different sub-sub work packages as well and the activities are assigned to these sub-sub work packages.
Similar to the main WBS " Provisional Sum", there are other main WBS like " DESIGN" , " ENGINEERING", " PROCUREMENT " etc.
I want to hide the full WBS"PROVISIONAL SUM" by creating a filter : WBS not under " PROVISIONAL SUM".
I Know that I can make the filter" WBS under " DESIGN", "ENGINEERING" etc.
But, is it possible to make a filter as highlighted above?

no problem
Hi Zoltan,
Its working with the Filter :- WBS Path does not contain PROVISIONAL SUM.
Thanks for your help.

how about
ANY
where wbs name does not contain PROVISIONAL SUM
where wbs name does not contain DESIGN
where wbs name does not contain ENGINEERING
where wbs name does not contain PROCUREMENT
Hi Raymund,
I think in that case the hierarchy of WBS will be lost and will not be in the order of Original WBS.

Hi,
I suggest to remove the indent of WBS level in the Group and Sort window.

Hi Zoltan,
I already tried it with Filter " WBS not equal to Provisional Sum". Since there are many work packages under this WBS and moreover the activities are assigned under these work packages, it is not working.
Other wise I have to work with options as follows;
1. Filter with WBS not equal to Work Package 1, WP2 WP3 etc
other option
2. Filtering to see only the other Main WBS: like WBS equals to Engineering, WBS equals to Procurement, WBS equals to Construction etc. If there are lot of main WBS it will be required to type it one by one.

instead of using not under did you try
filter where ALL
wbs not equal to PROVISIONAL SUM
wbs not equal to DESIGN
wbs not equal to ENGINEERING
wbs not equal to PROCUREMENT
