Schedule Referencing / Numbering

I need to know where I can apply a schedule number and revision number to the schedule.

I also need to know how this information can be generated in the border.

I have tried this in the page set up but when I open up another project the information that I input to the previous project carries forward to the newly opened project.

Hi Gordon,

By default, whatever projects you will open up the same layout or windows (i.e. Activity ID, Activity Name, OD, RD, so and so forth) will appear, as what you have seen from previous project. However, you can modify or change the title box.

As I’ve mentioned in my previous reply, you need to save your layout for future reference. You can open it up again if you want to use it. Or else, you can create layout as many as you can and save them individually. You can even export and import them back.

If you want to change or view another layout, go to layout option bar and select open, if prompted with the message box “Would you like save the changes to this layout”, it’s up to you whether you like to save it or not. You may choose another layout that has previously created by you or assign the existing one.

I hope it assists you.

Cheers,

Arnold

Thanks Arnold, the problem I now have is that if I open up another project the information from my previous project details remain in the title box fields i.e. the information imput is not personal to the individual schedule.

Hi Gordon,

You can find it in Page setup --> Header or Footer, under Sections 1, 2, or 3, click on the drop down list fields and select Revision Box. When done, rename whatever revision you wish and modify the other section anything you wanted to alter. Then go to Activities Windows --> View Menu select Layout, select Save Layout As… for your future reference.

I hope that this helps you.

Cheers,

Arnold
