I have a schedule which I need to assign total cost of salaries (staff salaries), but the problem I am facing is that:
1- In January I have total amount $9000 salaries
2- In february I have total amount $ 9000 salaries
3- In March I have total amount $ 14000
4- In April I have total amount $ 16000
and the tasks which I need to assign cost resources are overlapped?

MS project does not know what a hammock task is; therefore, il you want to simulate a hammock task in MS Project, you have to copy and paste "paste special with a link" the start date of the predecessor milestone and the successor milestone with the "hammock"

not very easy with MS Project; you could try as follows:
1. create "pseudo"hammock tasks whose predecessors and successors are milestones with date constraints at the beginning and end of each month
2. using the Cost field in the Task sheet, enter the monthly amount of salaries you mention
