Presuming the situation at the end of the day is the following: you have worked on specific tasks, you have not worked on other specific tasks
Open Project, Project Information and make sure the Actual Date is the Windows System date and the Data Date is the day you want to update your project
Select all the tasks with actual work to be entered for the last day, Tools, Tracking, Update actual work ... at the (data date), for Selected tasks
Select all the tasks with no actual work for the last day, Tools, Tracking, Schedule the not completed work ... for the Selected tasks
