Change Order VS Variation Order

Hi Deb,



Anoon is right as there are also in some contracts like I have a term called "Adjustment Order".



So it all depends upon how the term is defined in your Contract.

if it’s defined in your Contract, then that’s the definition, otherwise, forget it! i suppose Variations and Change Orders got the same intent

then you work on Variations and Adjustments, forget Change Orders!

Hello Anoon,

My contract mentions "variation" -any change to the works , which is instructed or approved as a variation under clause 13( Variations and Adjustments ).

Change order is not mentioned
