Expedition I think is better than Prolog except for traking of individual drawings submitted in a submittal package.
Sure. We are still using the Prolog but for cost control purposes only. We are going to develop our own software by our internal EDP department to replace the Prolog system in future.
For project management we are using Primavera.
Hi,
Could you please tell me what is the present system (software) u r using for the project ?
Bye
We use Prolog heavily in cost control for 5-6 yrs in HK, but the software is full of bugs. The planning management side of the software is very weak so that we do not use it at all.
We have a full bug fixing list pending for several years but neither the local vendor nor Merridian in US could ever think of helping us out!
Our Prolog version is 6.0 and their latest version is 7.0, however, they (not sure the local vendor or Meridian) said that they had ceased technical support to 6.0 users!
Besides, they had stopped developing the Prolog system and Merrdian is selling their new software called Proliance.
My company had invested several millions in the Prolog system but recently we had decided to move on to the cost control system.
I do not recommend anybody to use the Prolog system.
