I haven’t found a way to search for posts made by a particular person, let alone a particular IP!



I did consider possibility of multiple people using the same IP, but there’s the strikingly similar language style, plus one of the 2 ’people’ posting up job offers said he was based in Mexico whilst the others said UK, plus the job offers themselves looked dodgy.

Aside from an open admission of guilt, I can’t think of any more ways of gathering evidence with the tools and information available.

It’s an odd coincidence that a lot of my favourite words would seem to readily apply to this guy. Most of them would also be a breach of forum rule #2, of course.

I’ve sent an email to James Williams explaining the situation, and requesting that this IP address be blocked -awaiting a response.



In the meantime, I’m just going to delete any new posts I find from any of these profiles

’Chris Danniel’ has posted a job ad for forensic planner

’George William’ has posted a job ad for P6 planner in UAE



Dunno what this chump is up to -maybe trying to get hold of some cvs to test the competion or just enjoys playing sillybuggers but I’m tempted to just delete everything I can find posted from this IP adress because he’s getting on my tits now.



...Does anyone have a way to contact PP admin about blocking this IP?

I was worried this might happen.

I haven’t challenged this guy yet on having 2 profiles as I didn’t want him to be aware that we can see his IP address, in case he finds a way to circumvent it.



Any thoughts guys on what to do about him? I really don’t like the idea of him using multiple personalities to back himself up and bully anyone who disagrees with him.

’Bob Benham’ is using an alias of ’John William’, or at least they are sharing the same IP address



The language style, abusive content and anti-UK tendencies does indeed seem to be very reminiscent of Charleston. But if so he has changed IP addresses since he left in March.



Whoever he is, I can imagine no legitimate reason for having multiple profiles on PP.



Is there a way we can ban members, or even better ban IP addresses?



Any other suggestions?
