Duties and responsibilities:
- Prepare Planning Schedule and Project Cost Control Plans for all the major projects, in accordance with project and client requirements for inclusion in the Project Control Plan
- Support the project team with Planning & Schedule Control Services/Cost Control Services
- Prepare of Project Execution Plan for Engineering: location of work, organization, engineering & documentation procedures, detailed engineering deliverables, scheduling & engineering progress measurement
- Prepare of Deliverable List, man hours allocation and price calculation
- Prepare of Project Management Support Team: organization chart, manpower resources assumption, and cost & cash flow assumption
- Prepare of SOW, WBS, OBS, RBS, and CBS for various projects
- Prepare Level 1 to 4 Schedules using Primavera P3 v.3.1 or MS Project (Bar Chart and PERT), for all projects, in accordance with the client requirements
- Responsible for the integrity of the projects planning date and projects cost date
- Provide Planning assistance and Cost assistance during the review of all project/contractor variation orders, change requests and/or claims
- Prepare and maintain a complete record of all budget transfers through a Cost Control System the incumbent has developed for using a company provided cost control system
- Support in the review of contractor claims
- Responsible to review and accept contractor progress claims prior to invoice submittal
- Responsible for developing a project specific Planning engineering procedure and monitoring project team compliance to that procedure
- Responsible for developing a project specific Cost engineering procedure and monitoring project team compliance to that procedure
- Monitor progress, issue schedule status and trend analysis for management attention
- Produce various diagrams and work plans in scheduled format (bar-charts, resource histograms, progress S-Curves, tabular reports, etc.)
- Provide weekly/monthly work reports including information on critical activities, critical path and total float, cost/budget control
- Draw out statistic reports on current schedule and target schedule highlighting eventual delays
- Monitor, analyze and forecast projects costs
- Prepare cash flows and currency distribution forecasts
- Prepare periodically presentations to project teams and clients on status of projects and cost control
- Schedule Risk Analysis and Risk Management on the prepared programs using Primavera ‘Monte-Carlo’;
