Chevron Upstream Europe Lead Planner

Responsible for maintaining and enforcing planning processes and procedures for a Major International Operator. The role covers a variety of skill sets from implementing new planning systems to detailed project planning.



Key Achievements – Project Services:

•     Focal point of the group for all planning, planning software and procedural issues.

•     Successfully upgrading to Primavera 6.2.

•     Responsible for testing of all planning systems on upgrade to Vista.

•     Mentoring current Planners and providing them with guidance, support, advice and solutions.

•     Deputising for the Cross Asset Planning Manager in all levels of meetings.

•     Taking a holistic view of the planning process ensuring standards and procedures are being followed.

•     Maintaining, updating and refreshing the planning system, processes and procedures.



Key Achievements – Asset Planning:

•     Maintaining and updating long term Asset schedule.

•     Coordinating meetings to discuss any variances and clashes within the Asset.

•     Translating Business Plan into a workable schedule to enable stakeholders to track progress on projects.



Key Achievements – Project Planning:

•     Working with departments to identify their planning requirements and simplifying processes to eliminate unnecessary reporting.

•     Liaising with international business units to identify best practice to create Company standard project protocols.

•     Providing departments with fully resourced plans in order for them to prioritise work activities and initiatives for the year.

•     Meeting with individuals and teams to discuss progress and identify any slippages or blockages, collating results into summary report.

•     Working with external companies to collate schedule information.

•     Requested to join cross function teams to provide planning knowledge and expertise.
