Brief Description of the Project:
oIsla Moda is a unique, fashion themed waterfront development located within ‘The World’ master plan in Dubai, UAE. The approximately 900,000sq.ft. large mixed use development with its exclusive location on island G13, fully surrounded by water, will be based on a unique market proposition to introduce the visionary idea of joining real estate program and fashion lifestyle into one singular destination: Isla Moda.
Major Responsibilities as Planning Manager:
oPart of the Development team with active participation in Feasibility Analysis, Creative input, Preparation of Concept Brief / Preliminary Area Program for the projects initiated by the organization.
oDevelopment of Preliminary Development Program in coordination with the Development team.
oActive participation in the process of ‘Send RFP - Receive Response - Tender Bid Analysis - Select Consultant’ for Architect, Project Manager and Cost Consultant.
oCoordination with the Project Managers in the preparation of Detailed Development Program.
oScheduling, What – If modeling, Progress Monitoring, Updating, Controlling and Reporting periodically in coordination with the Project Managers.
oPreparation of Project Monitoring / Project Control systems with the assistance of Project Managers.
oParticipation in the progress meetings with Project Managers, Architect, Cost Consultant & Hotel Operators and reviewing the progress on a weekly basis.
oReview and certification of Consultants monthly invoices.
oAssist the team in maintaining, improving and continually updating documentation system, planning system, procedures, processes and standards.
Involvement in other Concepts while working for the company:
oYRF Entertainment District: Actively participated in the feasibility analysis, Preparation of Concept Brief / Preliminary Area Program and Development of Preliminary Development Program in coordination with the Development team.
