Dear experts/Mike

Please mention the steps that

1) How to hide bar under shaded timescale?

2) How to show the full summary bar instead of break in summary?

Please see snapshot for 1 and 2 : http://ge.tt/3OBWrnl2

I used all options but no success.

I tried Format bar chart>non working >uncheck/check>on tasks>on allocations but problem not solved. Snapshot would be great help

Cheers

Hi Andy - sorry for the late response but I had some deadlines to meet.

What you have shown is the task bar sitting over the holiday period which is the normal view.

The tasks start and end over the holiday period but the working days will remain the same duration - this is completely normal.

You can set the view so that the holiday shading sits over the bar using >Format > Barchart > Non Working - and select required display.

Or you block out the holiday completely in the same dialogue.

Best regards

Hi Andy

Can't open it.

You need to work out how to put an image on PP.

Rafael Davila is an expert.

Hi Mike,

Thanks for replying.

Necking problem has been solved.

But Bar no 11 is still on shaded timescale where the part of that bar showing in orange/red highlighted in screenshot- http://ge.tt/2aq3Kol2)  coming on shaded holidays timescale, must start after holidays

My question is that what steps I need to follow so Orange/red part showing on shaded timescale must start after holidays timescale automatically?

Regards,

Andy

Hi Andy

You are displaying the P6 replica view with necking.

The stanard powerproject view is a simple straight bar - just disable the necking facility.

To simply hide a bar from view then Right click on task > Properties > select for hiding> In the format ribon click the Hide icon.

Best regards
