Hello,
Asta Powerlines April 2012 (http://www.astadev.com/asta-powerlines-april-2012/asta-powerproject-hints-tips-april-2012/) features an instruction on how to sort your multiple assigned library codes. Step 2 of 'Sorting where multiple codes are assigned' shows an option to 'Show duplicate items for multiple assignments'.
I use PowerProject 10 and it's interface differs from the one of the version used in the instruction. In PowerProject 10 I can't find the option to 'Show duplicate items for multiple assignments'. Is this option not available in this version?
Hi Hans
It is good practice to prefix the text in a library description with a series of leading zero numerics.
They work as text but look like numbers so category 1 would have:
01 Main Text Heading
001 Sub Text Heading
0001 Description.
0002 Description
Pretty much the same as a WBS system.
The advantage of this method is that each description carries with it its place in the heirarchy.
You can also allocate library items into seperate subjects and sub subjects which does the same as the above but without the indication in the description.
Best regards
Mike Testro.
Hello Mike,
Thanks for confirming that this feature is missing in PP10. Does anybody know a workaround for mimicking this duplication feature in PP10?
Best regards,

Hi Hans
The instruction is probably written for v 12 and it was not an option in v 10.
