MySQL management on the cloud?

Hi all, I've recently begun to research the idea of moving our mysql databases to a cloud environment (particularly a sql cloud environment, like this one). So I've had some questions pointed at me, and I still am not sure what to make of this sort of move. Is moving your data from local database to the cloud dangerous (are there any risks you know of)? How does it affect security and auditing? How much of a hassle is the move, and should I move all of the data or only some? I'd love to hear any opinions in order to move this project forward. Thanks!

Cloud computing is virtualization done by others, on a server at a foreign country. I still prefer having control on my virtualization for sensitive data.

I can foresee bright future for cloud computing (virtualization by an external server) as well as for virtualization by your own IT department, both are good but not the same.

For scheduling operations cloud service can be considered.
