Laurie,

you could do the following:

a) copy scheduled to a custom field,

b) create a formula that would say: "actual minus copy of scheduled"

c) display this formula in a custom field

Using baseline is easier, isn’t it?

OK thanks Alexandre.

I understand that really you should use baselines but was hoping for a quick solution. But if it can’t be it can’t be done.

Cheers, Laurie

Laurie,

you SHOULD use a baseline, as it is where the software stores the initial data of your project; this way, you will have three different types of data: a) scheduled, b) baseline, c) actual; the software will compare actual/scheduled with the baseline.

Hope this helps,

Alexandre
