Yasir Masood is a project, portfolio, change, PMO, and project risk management professional with over fourteen years of experience in manufacturing, consulting, oil & gas, and IT. He has managed projects and portfolios, ranging from $100,000 to $10 billion, in Canada, Germany, Austria, Denmark, and the Middle East. He has worked at two Fortune 500 companies, OMV (Asia, Middle East, and Vienna) and SABIC (Middle East, Germany and Denmark). At SABIC, Yasir worked in PMO and was responsible for risk and project control.

I am an Australian engineer who has over 30 years of professional experience working on large and mega construction projects in building, rail, infrastructure, civil and O&G sectors in Australia, UAE and Egypt.

Over my career, I have worked for two employers; CRC-Dorra for 18 years and Laing O’Rourke from 2004 to date.

Currently, I am working for Laing O’Rourke Australia as the Project Controls Lead on the Woolgoolga to Ballina Pacific Highway Upgrade - A$4.9bn. I have a team of five staff direct reports in addition to five functional report.
