25kv Energisation Saftey

The project comprised of a 44km network of Tunnel’s (Trace) which interfaces with numerous Station’s / Shaft’s & Portals that extended from Royal Oak Portal/West Bourne Park through to Pudding Mill Lane & Plumstead. The overall control feeds back to an RCC in Romford controlled via SCADA

As part of the Cross rail expansion projects, Balfour Beatty is responsible for the Design, Build & Commissioning for a section of OLE (Overhead Line Electrification) track between Stockley Bridge Junction & Maidenhead Station. The works consisted of Foundation Piles for the Signals/Masts & Overhead Line Portal Gantries, All Steel Structure Work, SPS (Small Parts Steel) & Wiring (Including ATF) to accommodate increased traffic through this route.
