Turnaround planning

• Responsible for all operations and project planning for two Floating Production, Storage, Offloading (FPSO) Installations within the UKCS using Primavera Project Planner v3.1. • Responsible for preparation to integrate a third “new build” vessel into operations planning set-up. • Responsible for long term strategic planning for the above vessels. • Responsible for formulation and implementation of a new Integrated Asset Planning process and upgraded planning software (Primavera v5) for all Bluewater Operated Assets by Q1 2008.

 Developed and introduced an updated Operations based planning process with associated Work Breakdown Structure for Maersk Inspirer / Volve Field Development. • Responsible for all operations, shutdown and major maintenance planning for Maersk Inspirer (Statoil Volve Project) using Microsoft Project 2003. • Close liaison with Volve Project Team to ensure a smooth handover to the Operations phase.

Directed and advised in the selection of a front-end package to allow BP to move from an Artemis 6000 system running on an HP mini system to a PC bases Artemis 7000 system quickly and smoothly. Then expanded this system by writing programmes and menu systems to meet the refinery specific planning and reporting needs. This system was later replaced by Primavera (P3).

While working for the Overhauls Services Branch at BP I have created, monitored and reported on plans for a wide range of maintenance and capital project works for execution during plant shutdowns.
