GrantRail LTD – Trainee Project Manager/Assistant Project Manager

Based in Stratford, East London, working on the company’s East Anglia Zone S&C Contract. Responsible for running subprojects within the contract, reporting directly to the Project Manager. Duties undertaken in this post are:

RSP United Infra Construction Private Limited, Chennai, India.     

Worked on multitude of high class luxurious finish & priced projects, ranging from 4 storey apartment to a 3 star hotel construction (basement, shell and core only) in heart of city. Actively involved in interacting with Architects, Buyers and also worked on purchase, marketing and sales team. Coordinated registration / sale of property along with the General manager for one complete project. At site, job involved labor management, preparing and executing weely targets, coordinate with suppliers for material procurement and delivery, maintaining muster, disbursing weekly wage payments.

Kier Graduate Building Engineer - Worked on various projects ranging from office blocks to scheduled ancient monuments and also trained in the tender planning department.

In 1991 Friel construction was founded with a focus on providing Civil Engineering services to large residential developers and industrial clients.

In 1995 I took a working years holiday in Australia, working for Ford Civil Pty on the rail tunnel improvement programme for the 2000 Olympics.
