Chevron Oil & Gas Co., IMPACT Turn Around Planner/Scheduler

Lead collaboration efforts across multiple levels of the organization, and multi-discipline teams from Engineering, Operations, Maintenance and Reliability to develop detailed plans and schedules used to execute field turnaround work. Responsible for integrating turnaround maintenance activities. Develop fully integrated turnaround cost estimates, manpower loading and execution schedules that meet Key Performance Indicators, achieve safety and environmental integrity, and achieve business objectives. 

My duty involved developing and managingthe programs and plans for the project. I was also responsible for monitoring the execution of project as per schedule & monthly production plan. Resource planning was also a part of my job under which I assigned resources to each activity according to requirement and availability. I was also representing in project planning and progress meetings.

Presently employed with M/s L&T Hydrocarbon Engineering Limited, a subsidiary of M/s Larsen &Toubro Ltd.( previously known as Hydrocarbon & Pipeline division of L&T). Joined the Organization as a GET (Graduate Engineer Trainee) in 2008 and since then had gathered experience in handling various facets of the following EPC projects,

·         Planning the design engineering activities for the product development projects

·         Support the Project Managers in their timing deliverables for their systems designs

·         Create WBS, S-Curves and special reports as tools to manage a project

·         Planning and Controlling of the Plant Installation (M&E Installation)

·         Preparing monthly invoices and dealing with cost management issues

·         Preparing WBS, execution plan and regular reports to present the project current status

Working as Resource Planner handling all data entries for all material resources incoming and outgoing during construction of First Phase (1x250 MW) of Suratgarh Super Thermal Power Station (Presently 6x250 MW), Suratgarh-India.

Lead Planning Engineer responsible for the following tasks

<P>Resource Planning, Demand Management, Project Scheduling, Programme Scheduling, Project Planning, Project Manager</P>

• Undertake project planning and schedule development, maintenance and monitoring for all phases of the Programme, including engineering, procurement, construction and start-up of facilities.
• Monitor and review key performance indicators to benchmark individual & collective project performance, Implement schedule controls including management of float, earned value and critical paths.
• Analyse and study problem areas to determine criticality of schedule activities.
