EVM Consultant

Design, document and implement an Earned Value Management System for a Defense Contractor new to Earned Value Management, to ensure compliance with contract requirements, policies, and procedures as well as the industry standard EIA-748 Earned Value Management System guidelines, with a focus on efficient implementation to enable project success.

·     Developed and monitored the overall Strategic Master Programme for Al Barari Development Phase 1, a residential development for high end market luxury villas, with associated infrastructure, landscaping, waterways, lakes, themed gardens, and community facilities.  Approximate construction cost USD 550 million

·     Functional leadership of 55 planning, project control and stakeholder management professionals in the UAE

·     Created annual and monthly project and team deployment schedules, budgets and cash flows and monitored performance against target Construction Services Business Line KPIs

·     Oversees the work executed by the Project Management Consultant and more than 20 specialist consultants deliverables for the Royal Atlantis Resort and Residences, the Palm on a fast track delivery schedule

·     Devises and implements new project management organizational processes, procedures and governance framework for the Development division of Kerzner

3.     Maintains and updates project schedules.

4.     Preparation of comprehensive weekly and monthly progress reports

Working as EPC contractor for an onshore brownfield revamping project that included a new Diesel Hydro Processing unit (DHP), Amine Regeneration Unit (ARU), Sulphur Recovery Unit (SRU), Sour Water Unit (SWU), and 2 new Cooling Towers- one chemical and one natural draft.  Additionally, an intense brownfield upgrade of the existing steam generation boilers, new turbo-generators, installation of new control room, and tie-in into existing operating plant.

Responsible for the Electrical, Life Safety and Instrumentation & Controls installation to maintain and facilitate production of Micro Semi Conductors. Preparation of Capital Project Allowance to fund necessary works. Maintenance of budget and cost reports and monitoring progress of site installation works.
