2013 – 2015 Current works – Costain - London Bridge Station Revelopment (as part of the Thames link programme worth £6.5 Billion):
I currently work for Costain at London Bridge Station Redevelopment, since working here I have experienced planning for civil works undertaken by Costain (otherwise known as self-delivery works) and Early works such as demolition, piling and drainage (which have been part self-delivery and part subcontracted).
I do both short term and long term planning.

The Projects Execution Planner is responsible for ensuring that best practices are applied to produce optimized project plans and schedules for projects during the AVP Execution Stage, in particular fieldconstruction.

Outer Harbour – Scope G Works (£2.1m)

Tender and Contract Planner for construct only contract under FIDIC Conditions of Contract, 4^th Edition. Works located at Great Yarmouth Outer Harbour development to provide around 41,000m² hard-standings to create an operation port area. Contract involved the construction of block paving areas complete with electrical ducting, lighting towers 40m in height, approx.

Planner Network Rail -Thameslink (Outer Areas) July 2007 to March 2008 (Planning software P6)

Thameslink project – working to deliver additional capacity on Key routes within the south east specifically planning platform extensions at more than 20 stations between central London and Bedford.

Building of project plan, baseline of project updating & scheduling of plan each period.

Cost and Resource loading of plans in line with current Budget management plan & current authority.

I was working for Structuretone, who specialise in the re-fit / fit outside of the construction industry. During this time I worked on a number of projects in many different departments. I worked as a quantity surveyor on projects such as Harrods, HRO Clements Inn (final accounts) and Level 3 communications. I also worked in the estimating department on tenders for Deloitte & Touche, HRO Victoria Plaza, British Bakeries, Teletext and JP Morgan Chase. In the planning department I worked, in depth, on live jobs and tenders, usually two or more at a time.
