Contracted to Vinci, this high profile project for Network Rail utilised both Matthew’s experience in the Rail sector and in recent projects for the Building Services division of NGB. A large new-build concourse plus the refurbishment of the existing train shed and operational buildings presented challenging works around a National Heritage site and one of the busiest live rail stations in the UK. Matthew was a key part of the planning team that prepared and managed a large complex programme that included phased blockades and the migration of live communications equipment.
