Senior Planning Engineer, Oil and Gas Projects
Duties and Responsibilities:
· Develops project Work Breakdown Structure (WBS) for large size projects, integrating all project objectives, major milestones and customer / contract requirements.
- Responsible for scheduling, cost control, and production of progress and productivity reports.
- Supervise, coach and mentor planning staff on day-to-day work
- Planning and leveling of overall project resources based on individual area requirements
- Collecting, maintaining, organizing, and analyzing the Earned Value
Establish and manage effectively a planning and progress control system in order to support the Project Manager's decision-making process and allow him to complete the project according to the internal baselines and in compliance with the contractual dates and requirements. Ensure any deviation from plan is promptly spotted and analyzed, final time impact is estimated and the effect of corrective actions taken is monitored. Create a schedule awareness atmosphere among all project participants.
