PROJECT: Lift and Installation of Deck Extension to existing Tanker Mooring/Manifold Platform (Offshore)

POSITION: Senior Planning/Controls Engineer

• Create and maintain P6 schedule programme using data from the MoD requirement, ensuring that the correct level of logic is incorporated to support the Programme Manager’s requirement.
• Apply the FSMIPT Project Structure to all programmes incorporating logic & coding as required to deliver programme outputs.
• Facilitate meetings with FSMIPT Heads of Department and Design and Safety Teams to actively collect progress information and updates of Primavera P6 work schedules.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

·      Analysed equipment’s fuel consumption and inventory control of Guinness engineering spares including all mechanical, electrical/ instrumentation spares such as: gas systems, compressed air and vacuum pumps, boilers and condenser, chillers, standby diesel generators,  building services; sanitation, sewage, potable water treatment plants, water distribution and electrical spares and instruments using Excel and ERP applications (MAXIMO, STRUXURE & SAP).

 3 years of experience: 1year training experience with PZ Nutricima, 1 year training  experience with DSC and added to Adano Engineering, and oil and gas.

PMO Executive- Pre-bid meetings, Tendering, Planning, scheduling, monitoring, cost controlling and resource management with Capcity planning etc.

Working for Group Five KZN as Planning Engineer on Civil Construction projects.

• Preparing a project work breakdown structure and plan in accordance with the requirements of the Guide to Railway Investment Projects (GRIP)
• Managing and monitoring progress to the plan and make changes as required. Develop recovery programme and contingency plans in order to meet changed objectives.
• Report actual performance and variance against plan and forecast outcomes.

Planner role since 2008 in power plant and Oil Industry. Have experience in both MS Project and Primavera P6.
