Planning Engineer and Project Delivery

Employed as a Lead Civil Engineer & Planning Engineer on the Hex Line 3 Project at Springfield’s Preston. Initial Responsibilities was the co-ordination of the day to day civil design activities on the Hex Line 3 project also the co-ordination between in-house mechanical, electrical disciplines. Once the Project moved to site he was employed as the Project Planning Engineer due to aptitude to controlling work. The main duty was to develop an installation, testing & commissioning programme to bring on line an operational facility with an overall value of approximately £55m.

•Expedite information for preparation of the monthly Project Progress Report.
•Monitor weekly schedule status reviews, and recommended corrective action.
•Progress measurement, manpower and major quantity curves, schedule reviews and interface planning with Project and Construction Managers.
•Development and implementation of the project cost coding structure to meet estimating, cost control, engineering, document control and other project reporting requirements.
