With TAG International, I am currently involved in the planning and project control monitoring of GolenGol Hydropower project in Pakistan. The project is about producing electricity using head race tunnel and surge chambers for pressure head.

Previsously with the company I was involved in the coordination and project management of the designing of the following projects:

·         Prime Minister House Azad Jammu Kashmir

I worked with Punjab Industrial Estates Development and Management Company in the capacity of Junior Civil Engineer (Pakistan Government Designation for young engineers). In this company I experienced the portfolio management experience. In the following I am listing the major activities involved in my job:

1.     Collecting reports from the ongoing programs and associated projects, for the progress monitoring and control.

I worked in the capacity of coordination and project planning engineer. The project was about the construction of a Two Story Hyperstar (Carrefour) Hypermarket, in Lahore. The project cost was about 15 MLN US$. My main tasks included:

·         making a schedule,

·         managing costs,

·         controlling schedule and costs

MEMCO - Hariri Group Company. Technical Engineer - Heat Systems & Burners Department.

Selecting the suitable and preparing the related technical offers as well as planning the installation and commissioning procedures of Weishaupt burners with accessories and controls (Light oil, heavy oil, Gas and dual fuel burners).

Also, involving in selecting both domestic hot water and industrial Viessmann steam Boilers.

SUMMARY

Transferred to section 2 of the project in March 2000 within the central group, tasked with the  reporting of progress on the early enabling works and the production of detailed programmes for the engineering disciplines. In December 2000 re-assigned to the St Pancras team in preparation for the commencement of major construction works in July 2001. Continued with the engineering programming with a growing involvement with the construction team as contracts were let. In July 2001 transferred to site offices to monitor, report and do analysis on Contracts 102, 125 and 135.

Seconded from Rail Link Engineering into the building fit-out team. Placed with the team responsible for the delivery of the Interim Station.

Westinghouse Rail Systems are exclusive suppliers of signalling equipment for the Metronet Consortium on both the BCV and SSL refurbishment projects for London Underground. The SSL project is currently in the design phase and the application / installation programmes are currently being developed. As a member of the SSL project team, tasked with the development, maintenance and progressing of a mid-level (7500 activities) baseline programme for the entire SSL project (£700m). Reporting directly to both the Senior Project Manager and Programme Manager.
