As a Project Planer working with in central function team my main responsibilities are to provide programme planning support to Thameslink Central Engineering and Sponsor teams. Working on my own initiative and liaising with project’s teams to develop the best logic for the live programmes, collecting project data and transferring it in to programme plan. Updating activity schedule and creating project’s baseline. Generating Programme progress, Stage Gate, Coded reports and supporting engineering teams on accountability review meetings.

Network Rail FTN / GSM-R Programme (Planner to the Commissioning team (6 month rolling Contractor Position)                                                                                  

The FTN /GSM-R Programme:

In this role I’ve experienced the application of project planning, managing a portfolio to an approximate annual value of £150 million. I’ve developed Project Plans from Development, through into realisation, to handover and project close out, including monthly performance reporting to the Project team. I’ve acted in a supervisor role within the Project Planning team. Toolset used primarily has been Primavera P3e version 5, Microsoft Project 2007 and MS Excel for financial data analysis. 

EPC Water Plant Project, Abu Dhabi: Seconded as Claims and Contract manager to a well-known power and automation company on an EPC water plant project. As part of the EPC Contractors Project management team responsible for the contractual correspondence, including claims and claim evaluation (cost and time) towards the Employer and Subcontractors (e.g. main contractors, design consultant and Suppliers). In addition, participation in negotiations.
