Cutover & Planning Manager 2005 – 2005 (Planning software P3e V5)

Working on the Connect Project – upgrading London Undergrounds communications network Fibre, Copper, Cab to shore.

Producing of cutover philosophy detailing all process and procedures that enable a safe introduction of the new system.

Creation of detailed plan for the cutover of service

·               Preparation of Pre qualification and expression of interest.

·               Tender sourcing through tender portals, various countries ministry web portals in the Middle East and Africa Region and preparing Tender logs.

Currently Working on the Yorkshire Water Large Contract Framework £10m +

Mace employed me to assist with the planning for the construction works for the Main Contractor, Logan Siemens Consortium, North Terminal.

• Develop the existing programme framework.
• Develop mini-programmes to assist the project team manage weekly works.
• Providing planning support for Project Lead Planner, and Mace Construction Managers.
• Updating the schedule and report internally on a monthly basis (client requirement).
• Monitor steelwork erection, secondary steelwork and fire protection activities.

Commissioning of a PTA plant (750KTe/year) in Portugal.

Lead Planning role to develop all programmes and tracking information for the project. Creation of KPIs, Graphs and spreadsheets to monitor and report progress and resource requirements.

Organisation and running of planning meetings with Management, Operations Teams, Sub-contractors and Vendors.

Reviews of logic, durations and critical path to assess programme achievability and steps to mitigate shortfalls.
