Provding asset owner operators with end to end advice on the capital project lifecycle
I am an apprentice working in the Project Controls team at National Grid. My programme started in September 2016 and finishes in September 2018. During my apprenticeship I will spend time with all of the teams within Project Controls:
- Estimating
- Planning
- Cost Engineering
- Risk Engineering
- Reporting
- Change team and workbook
Kwok was part of team that developed a high-level operating model, and organisation design for a large utility capital delivery organisation responsible for £500m of projects annually. He specifically led the governance elements of the operating model design, and supported key aspects of process and organisation design. He co-facilitated design and review workshops working as part of a joint Deloitte and client team.
Owner of the company. Process QA/QC, audit, risk management, governance, forensic analysis, performance improvement.
Planning and Time Controls specialist within Risk Management team of parent company. Responsibilities and achievements include:
Managing a team of subject matter experts on planning, assurance, risk, methodology and controls against a portfolio capex budget of some £250m.
Support an Enterprise Portfolio Management system with realtime dashboard reporting for time, cost and quality (compliance).
