Project Planning Monitoring and Scheduling for Highway Projects in BOT mode

-Reporting to Site Project Manager

-Prepare baseline schedule

-Monitor progress and update schedule

-Prepare lookahead schedule

-Prepare weekly and monthly reports

Assures the control of all costs incurred onsite by Saudi Oger directly, or billed by Subcontractors, and assists in the forecasting of future project resource requirements.

As senior planner I am responsible for forward planning and current day to day reporting of the Nottingham Tram Project by contributing at various stages of project life cycle. Responsible to modify and further develop program structure as the design is being released using primavera v7 working along with a team of planners. I attend design, progress and client meetings to provide planning support for delivery of the project on target and within budget.

-  Responsible to provide planning function in the North region of Galliford Try infrastructure and was looking after projects of approximately £40m including urban regenerations, soil remediation, wind farms, footbridge, and flood defense.

More than 12 years of experience in Project Controls, Planning of project activities. Develop and maintain project baseline and current schedules for multiple projects.

- Performing, supervising, co-ordinating and controlling all necessary Planning, Scheduling and Progress activities to ensure that they are performed for the entire scope of the Project and run in accordance with the company rules.

- Providing an appraisal  of the planning status to complete the Project and to propose action plan in case of planning slippage.

I was site based full time, performing daily planning duties at this private design and build development for Crest Nicholson consisting of a health & fitness suite, a cinema, restaurants, a multi-storey car park and 200+ residential units, all in post-tensioned RC frames.

There were also two steel frame retail units (mostly shell and core), and extensive Section 278 works.

The challenge on this project was to achieve 20 sectional PC dates.

Planner / Coordinator – Glen Eyre KLM, Southampton (traditional contract with CDPs):

Appointed to plan the £16m refurbishment and extensions to three 3-storey student accommodation buildings. Each had a steel framed single storey roof extension to provide a further floor of accommodation, and a concrete frame / blockwork and PC floor constructed 4-storey extension to the front.

The role involved the planning and monitoring of the design, procurement and construction processes from site start onwards.

Senior Planner – Castlepoint, Bournemouth (design and build contract):

Planned the completion of this £70m design and build retail development, as well as monitoring and reporting progress.

I also did short term planning to remedy localised problems, which were planned out using drawings, method statements and localised programme production in Power Project.

Section Planner – TAG McLaren Paragon Project, Woking (design and build contract):

Planned the completion of this £250m office, research and development centre for the McLaren F1 team, Merce
