Project Description

MSP services to BAA for managing 5-year programme of capital works at Heathrow Airport, UK.

Role & Responsibilities

Lead Planner on behalf of BAA for a number of projects within their "Portfolio of Projects" sub-programme.

Lead project planner reporting to the project control manager Bombardier Transportation within London Underground Projects Division. Rolling stock and signalling integrator. Role involved managing all programme matters for the Sub Surface line contract for the delivery of 1300 underground vehicles and the re signalling of the applicable lines of London Underground.

Principal Planner on Scottish Water JV Framework.  Responsible for managing the Planning Team and providing numerous projects with the required level of planning support.  Contract Programmes, Cost Management, Client Reporting and interfaces amongst others.

Current Role

Project Planner for Babcock Rail in the Telecoms division.

With 20 over years experience within Project Control’s, my career has developed to give me a broad understanding of the many elements required to successfully control and aid major project delivery.  My experience covers a diverse range of industries, which has helped to broaden my understanding of the project controls function and its applicability across the project lifecycle.  I have gained valuable experience at all levels from hands work to a senior management role where I have used a range of analytical, organisational and communication skill
