Planning Engineer

1.      Prepare Work Break Down Structure.

2.      Prepare & develop the detailed schedules for the Engineering, Procurement and Construction phases of the project.

3.      Prepare schedule resource loading (labors, material, equipment, man-hours and cash) and develop resource histograms.

Project Planning & Progress Reporting Project Planning using project management software Primavera P6 and MS Excel. Project report generation through Project management software’s. Conduct project progress meetings in order to control & resolve critical activities. Review project along with project head as a member of Project Management Office (PMO). Project Management Monitoring project compliance with project management standard policies, procedures and templatesthrough project audits.

Senior Planning Consultant, part of the PMO Team responsible for HS2 Schemes with Utility Diversions. Work within the established multiple client environment. Responsibilities include maintain and improve allocated schemes, assist wider PMO and the client team by creating various P6 and Excel reports both periodic and on an ad hoc basis.

Duties : Covering planning works of Cairo Metro Line3 Phase4 project and Tunnels under Suez Canal project at Port Said.

Ø  Preparation of  work package for  the project phase , with cash flow & manpower histogram and manage the project control operations throughout until the completion of the project

Ø  Monitoring the project with respect to budgeted cost, as built plans , time over runs based on various analytical tools e.g Critical Path Analysis

• Responsible for the development and maintenance of the jobs’ construction schedules, resource requirements in coordination with the relevant departments across the company.
• Develop and maintains status reports including labor productivity, schedule status, financial analysis, cost performance reports and earned value curves reports.
• Generates monitors and updates construction schedule, resource schedule and cash flow curve of assigned projects
• Coordinates with Cost Control and Construction in the calculation and updating of the Company’s productivity (manpower and equipment) rates
