Phase II involved an investment of over US$ 1 billion into the construction and enhancement of existing facilities, new gas and liquid processing and gas injection facilities, a workover program consisting of 100 existing wells, a 120 MW power station for the facilities, and laying a new 650 kilometre pipeline to connect the field to the Caspian Pipeline Consortium (CPC) system at Atyrau.

The project consists of the “Experimental Phase” (EP) of the field development and includes both on and offshore facilities valued in excess of US$ 36 billion. EP nominal capacity of 450,000 bopd. Program challenges include extreme climate variations, environmental issues, diverse and multi-cultural project team, high H2S content combined with high pressure in a SIMOPS environment and global work sites for design, fabrication and construction activities.

Check & reviews Cost Time & Resources (CTR) prepared by assigned Control Engineer prior to submission to Client. Check & reviews Progress Measurement Unit (PMU) for each projects. Participates in the Technical / Commercial Bid Evaluation (TBE/CBE) of the Bidders for various projects.
