Joined EIL in July 1981 as management trainee and worked for nearly 20 Yrs and was Mangaer - Planning while leaving the company

Involved in “The Golden Quadrilateral” Express highway (Bangalore-Pune sector) by NHAI, India- The project was stabilization of vertical walls for flyovers and bridges for the express highway. Main Contractor was L&T India. Consultant was LBG, England.



Duty was to supervise the casting of precast panels for the walls, delivering to site and Systematic erection of the same. Overall co-ordination between the contractors/subcontractors employed at the site, and reporting to higher management.

Involved in various multi-storied / residential / commercial buildings with project cost spanning from 3Million to 30Million AED.



>Supervision & execution of the construction works as per specifications and drawings.

>Verification of the work quantity measurements of the contractor and approve the bills for the same.

>Overall co-ordination between the contractors/subcontractors employed at the site.

>Preparation of shop drawings / addressing RFI’s .

>Render periodic reports to the Project Manager regarding project progress.

Worked as Senior Engineer (Mechanical - Planning) in a EPPC-2A, PP Plant & Warehouse facilities for IOCL (Panipat Refinery).

Worked as Assistant Planner in a Cross Country pipeline job for BPCL (Kochi Refinery)

Worked as a Trainee in Factory Maintenance & Production planning

Current Role

I was a practice school student assigned by my Engineering Institute to N.B.C.C. to develop software in ‘C’ language for the analysis & design of “Circular Ground Water Tanks and Overhead Intze Tanks”.

I joined as Management Trainee and rose to the position of Deputy Manager Civil. I was fully responsible for management of new projects like 140 housing units, school & hospital building in the township & administration of the cement plant and the entire estate. Responsibilities also included planning & supervising work during plant shutdowns and providing technical support to the marketing department.

I worked as Structural Engineer on various building projects comprising of hospital buildings, commercial buildings, office buildings, housing apartments and townships etc.

I was responsible for the detailed analysis & design of structures using STAAD software, project co-ordination, client liaisoning & periodic site supervision work for these projects.
